At Mannik Merchandise, we use two primary lanyard printing methods; screen printing and dye sublimation.

Screen printed lanyards are best with basic texts and logos, and the result is bright, dense and very durable colours with a smooth surface.

Full-colour designs and designs that are more intricate are better achieved with dye sublimation. This technique enables us to print right to the edges without leaving a white border. We’re able to capture the fine details and gradients of the design to create a sharp and rich look.

What kind of materials should I choose for my promotional lanyards?

Our custom-printed lanyards are available in a range of materials with their own advantages. Your choice of material will depend on the intended purpose and your desired style.

  1. Polyester: Polyester lanyards are a popular choice because of their sturdiness, durability and usability. These promo lanyards are ideal for screen printing as well as dye sublimation printing.  
  2. Cotton: Cotton lanyards are a softer and more natural product that will suit those who want a more comfortable lanyard. These lanyards are tough but are less irritating to the skin.
  3. Eco-Friendly Materials: Some of the eco-friendly materials used to make lanyards include rPET, bamboo, and cork. RPET is made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate plastic.
